Su Zhou (苏州)

Su Zhou is just half an hour bus journey away from Shanghai. It recalled me the Hong Kong Drama talk about the 4 men of genius came from Su Zhou according to the rumour history.

Well, HanShan Temple is a famous Chinese temple in China. The meaning of HanShan is "cold mountain" in English. "Being one of the most famous temples in Chinese history, Hanshan Temple often boasts about its bell rings. However, the best known bell described in Zhang Ji's poem disappeared a long time ago. The bell in the tower now, was modeled on the previous one in 1904. Every year on New Year's Eve in China's lunar calendar, the bell is tolled to pray for the happiness and safety of the coming New Year. This festival attracts thousands of tourists both at home and abroad."

LuZhi is an old water town in SuZhou. As what I know, it was the first water town in China. The granny rowing the boat and singing at the same time. She is cheering the customers, and we have to give respond to her by clapping hands and money tips. This is their job to ask for income to survive for their life.

We also visited Lingering Garden, which has unique natural landscape. The garden is covered by rocks, some of the rocks have own creature and meaning. You can have your tea time at the garden, sightseeing the natural environment at the same time.
