Moreton Island is the second world's largest sand island. The island embodies national park, desert, blue lagoon lake, lighthouse and resort. Moreton Island located at east coast of Queensland, we taken by ferry departed from Brisbane Port Terminal. We joined the local tour from Brisbane Tourist Information Centre at Queen Street Mall. We paid Aud150 per person for Moreton Day trip, its included lunch, transport and return ferry tickets. We met the driver at Roma Street Station, and he drove us to the port and island by his four wheel car.
Tangalooma Shipwrecks also one of representative of Moreton Island. The shipwreck placed in the sea at the west of the island.
Cape Moreton Island stands the oldest lighthouse in Queensland, it was built on 14 February, 1857. The light house is facing the pacific ocean, east side of the island. The ocean has shark at this area, is not safe to swim here. The four wheel car brought us everywhere in the island. Normal car is not recommend to drive in the sand road, four wheel car is only the vehicle could drive in the island. I had a fun experience to sit in the four wheel car along the uneven sand road along the journey.
Towards the northern end of the island, the freshwater Blue Lagoon lake offers a very peaceful environment. People could swim and relax here. Several walking tracks are established on the island too. We did sand-boarding at the desert, it was so much fun! This was my second experience to do the sand-boarding, at least I know how to provide against the sand flying into the mouth or face.

Moretan Island is really a beautiful island, the most crystal clear water that I ever see in my life. It is not only crytal clear sea water, and also very clean compare to others. The resort in Moreton Island also provide the experience of hand feeding dolphins in the wild. You could try it on!
